La Boum - one of the best films ever, an absolute masterpiece. Brilliant inspiration to many actors and producers, as well as for directors. I still remember the first time I saw La Boum. I saw it in 1980 in cinema. You do not need to like Romance films to enjoy time spent on watching this film. Superb directing by Claude Pinoteau - brilliant dialogues scenes. I liked the characters, all of them, even the antagonists were unforgettable, especially Claude Brasseur. La Boum has difficult to explain energy that fills me every time I watch it. There really isn't too much else to say. La Boum's definitely worth to see.

This is the story about the first love experiences of a teenage-girl named Vic Beretton (Sophie Marceau) who is not only a Parisian teen noticing boys for the first time, but she also has her heart set on one of her classmates.
