This film is a masterpiece. Every thing of High Plains Drifter is outstanding. A performance that has no weak moments. High Plains Drifter is without doubt the best Adventure movie, a new standard. That tension created by characters draws the audience in from the start. I am a huge fan of Clint Eastwood and this movie was his finest work last time. It is proof of that - a movie to be very good need spectacular special effects - just made of great acting. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been released. Is High Plains Drifter the best film of all time? I would put it in my top 5 for sure. High Plains Drifter is a living masterpiece. This movie is an art, at it's very best form.

The movie follows a drifter with no name (Clint Eastwood) as he wanders into a small town, where his gun-slinging abilities are in high demand. There, he is hired to bring the townsfolk together in an attempt to hold off three outlaws who are on their way.
